Instagram Creator Lab: a new creator education hub
In an exciting announcement from Instagram, the platform has now opened a brand new education-driven content platform called Instagram Creator Lab. This a dedicated space for people to uplevel their skills. Here’s what Instagram has to say about this new product:
“We’ve asked some of our favorite creators to share what they wish they had known when they got started and what they’ve learned along the way through trial and error. This isn’t a guide to guaranteed success as a creator, but our hope is that these proven tips and best practices can give you a place to start—a few jumping-off points to experiment and see what works best for the unique ways you create.”
What are the aspects of Instagram that you struggle with the most and what are you most excited to learn about in the Creator Lab? Tweet us.
Instagram Stories have new poll options
And there’s more news in addition to the Instagram Creator Lab update. Say hello to the new poll sticker on Instagram Stories. Now users can customize the text and add up to four response options. It’s time to get to know your audience in a more seamless way.
Polls are a great way to get feedback from your audience on what’s working, what’s not, and what they’d like to see next. You can also develop questions to simply engage your audience in a fun way. Plus, who doesn’t like participating in some fun This or That polls?
“Latest Tweets” launch on Twitter
If you’re feeling drained by the ever-changing social media algorithm, you’ll probably be happy to learn about a new feature that Twitter is launching. This new feature is called the “Latest Tweets” timeline.
Typically, Twitter has utilized users’ home feeds by showing a mix of newer Tweets with more “popular” content making its rounds on the app. But for those who appreciate a chronological feed, this might be the choice for you.
Have thoughts you’d like to use Instagram’s polls? Or are you a fan of a “Latest Tweets” option on Twitter? DM Haleigh personally at @heyhaleighanne or @teachable on Twitter to share your opinions.
