Teachable June Product Update Teachable June Product Update

June was a pivotal moment for Teachable. We unveiled our new look and feel, and debuted a whole new way for you to grow your business on Teachable. This rebrand and feature launch is our way of showing you that the evolution of our brand is more than just a logo and color update. It’s our renewed mission to enable the transformative power of knowledge in our world. We’ve seen that power grow with online courses over the last six years. In the last two weeks, we have already noticed how the release of online coaching has unlocked more opportunities for you. We can’t wait to see where you take them and how we can continue to support your business needs. What’s new at Teachable in our June 2020 product update?

Online coaching

We’ve expanded our feature set so creators can now offer coaching services in addition to courses on Teachable. This is available to members on any paid plan.

Coaching offerings

The Coaching product has a completely new user interface to support your needs in running your one-on-one coaching sessions. The new online coaching space allows you to set specific milestones for your clients on specific dates—assignments, calendars, and meeting times. You can upload workbooks for them to fill out beforehand, add in calendar links for them to schedule their sessions, or provide a video conference link for them to join the coaching session. You and your client can also leave notes for each other under each milestone.

Just like courses, the Coaching product comes with its own sales page, checkout page, and thank you page. To support the coaching use case, we also introduced intake forms as a new block in coaching sales pages, so you can use it to get upfront information about clients to prepare for your first call, or to see if they’d be a good fit for your service.
