TikTok is prompting creators to let their creativity flourish with this latest news. Green screen GIFs? Enhancing the visuals? Creative sound effects? Say no more. The platform is making it happen with the launch of the new TikTok editing tools.

Just in time for the holidays, TikTok is gifting its users with some fun and flashy new ways to create even more engaging content for their audiences.

At TikTok we believe that you shouldn’t need to be a pro at video editing or an award-winning film-maker to make easy, eye-catching and entertaining content. Easy and intuitive tools empower people to express their creativity without limits,” the brand wrote in a statement.

Additionally, the platform is also connecting with more women-identifying users.

Promote your Instagram profile off the app…or not

Included in a string of other exciting updates, Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri recently announced news for some users. Those in the US can now embed a mini version of their profile on any third-party website with just a link.

Mosseri said in a video:

“You’ve been able to embed an Instagram photo or Instagram video into a website for many years now. This extends on that idea and allows you to embed a miniature version of your Instagram profile on a website. Maybe you want to showcase your Instagram content on a website somewhere or link to someone else’s.”
